Travis has received full scholarships to the Joffrey Ballet school in New York, California Ballet, and City Ballet of San Diego. He has also studied in master classes with David Howard and Gelsey Kirkland of New York City Ballet and Susan Jaffe of American Ballet Theatre.
In addition, Travis has an extensive jazz background with notable teachers: In L.A., Malaya (Celine Dion -dancer), Eddie Garcia (Michael Jackson-choreographer), Chebar Williams (Hubbard Street Chicago), and in NY he has studied with Suzi Taylor (teacher with the NY Dance Alliance).
Travis has a belief in helping dancers grow by giving knowledge and appreciation in the art of dance!
