Anthony Rodriguez began dancing at age 13 with the San Diego Dance Institute, an after-school dance program. He then received the Carrie Anne Fipps Memorial Scholarship which began his 10 year training with Eveoke Dance Theater, a modern and hip hop focused company. Through Eveoke, Anthony made his choreographic debut with Hip Hop is Everywhere, an exploration of hip hop movement on a global and personal note. He has also choreographed for San Diego Dance Theater's Trolley Dances (2007) and debuted the modern-hip hop fusion piece, Arrange i+n koncert, with Katie Griffin at Emerge (2009). He has also danced with local hip hop groups such as Culture Shock and kruciaal Element. Anthony's first passion is teaching and is excited to be apart of the hip hop foundation for technical dancers at APA
